Everything you’ll need to know about the “GIANT Hotel” from A to Z...
Acrobats, aerialists and assorted “Stilt Circus” folks will be featured on a performance stage in the center of the California Ballroom, on a purpose-built Acrobatix Cube on the Poolside Plaza Deck and also roaming all areas of the event!
Box Office... advance tickets for GIANT Hotel 2010 are highly recommended. That said, tickets may be purchased on the night of the event at the GIANT Hotel Box Office (cash only) from 3pm onwards. The Box Office is located in front of The Bonaventure at 404 S. Figueroa Street. See MAP.
Catalina ALL ACCESS? What’s this? It’s a private “club” level within the GIANT Hotel in the CATALINA Ballroom conveniently located between the CALIFORNIA Ballroom and the POOLSIDE Plaza Deck. For only $10 more, CATALINA ALL ACCESS Ticket Holders enjoy all the access of General Admission PLUS access to the CATALINA Ballroom featuring cushy seating, private bars and an eclectic mix of Mash-Ups, 80’s and House. Your date will dig it ;) To really impress, see “V” below…
Drinks (both alcoholic & non-alcoholic) and food may only be purchased using Bonaventure issued Drink and Food “Tickets.” There are “Ticket” stations located next to each bar and the food stands on all three levels and these stations take cash and Credit Cards. NOTE: VIP Ticket Holders DO NOT need any Drink Tickets as VIPs enjoy PREMIUM OPEN BAR in separate VIP “SIDE STAGE” Lounges in the CALIFORNIA Ballroom, the CATALINA Ballroom and in a lush VIP ONLY OASIS in the middle of the Poolside Plaza Deck.
Enter GIANT Hotel with your 21+ ID and Ticket in hand, at 404 S. Figueroa Street. As you’re facing the hotel, VIPs enter to the left while GENERAL ADMISSION and CATALINA ALL ACCESS enter to the right as shown here…
Forecast for New Year’s Eve… who cares! We’ve always wanted to say that ;) Well, it’s an indoor event in a luxury hotel! The stage and dance floor on the Poolside Plaza Deck are covered and there are heaters throughout.
Get there EARLY… fashionably late isn’t that fabulous when you’re standing in line at Midnight... the GIANT Hotel 2010 opens at 8pm and closes at 4am.
Hungry? There are Food Stands near the bars in every Ballroom and on the Poolside Plaza Deck. Tickets are needed, see “D” above.
Just in case you missed it, the GIANT Hotel 2010 is actually in a hotel. And, not just any hotel… The Westin Bonaventure is the West Coast’s largest hotel and it’s built for “giant” events such as ours with plenty of restrooms on each level located near the entrance to each Ballroom.
Kick it with us from 9pm onwards New Year’s Day (Night), Friday, January 1, 2010 in the Lakeside Lobby of the Bonaventure for DeCompression hosted by Giant, Compression and Basic Promotions. Most of the streets in the Downtown area are ONE WAY - please be extra cautious.
No IN’s and OUT’s except those GIANT Hotel Ticket Holders staying at the Westin Bonaventure, called “Bonaventure Hotel Guests.” Only “Bonaventure Hotel Guests,” identified by their Bonaventure issued wristband, will be allowed on Guest Room floors. Upon entering the event for the first time, “Bonaventure Hotel Guests” may use the “Hotel Guest” Express Lanes (the outside lanes) at both the VIP Entrance and the GENERAL ADMISSION / CATALINA ALL ACCESS Entrance. See “E” above.
Onsite medical and emergency staff will be in place. If you’re not feeling well or someone in your group needs attention, a First Aid station is located on the 3rd Level (Yellow Tower) next to the CATALINA Ballroom.
Please, if you must, smoke ONLY in one of two designated Smoking Areas! There is a smoking area just outside the back of the California Ballroom and the entire Poolside Plaza Deck is smoker friendly.

Security personnel will be checking (for everyone’s safety and continued enjoyment of our future events) for the following items: Weapons, bottles or containers, illegal substances, marking devices and other obviously inappropriate items. Backpacks are not allowed, small purses are allowed.

Unless you’re 21 or older, please do not attempt to enter GIANT Hotel. ID’s will be checked, as GIANT Hotel is a strictly “21+” event.
VIPs... enjoy a separate EXPRESS ENTRY to the event, access to all areas of the event, PREMIUM OPEN BAR in separate and fully furnished VIP “SIDE STAGE” Lounges in the CALIFORNIA Ballroom and the CATALINA Ballroom as well as in a lush VIP ONLY OASIS in the middle of the Poolside Plaza Deck.
Will Call (that’s where you’ll pick up ALL tickets purchased online including VIP, CATALINA ALL ACCESS and REGULAR GENERAL ADMISSION) opens at 3pm on the day of the show and is located next to the GIANT Hotel Box Office in front of The Bonaventure at 404 S. Figueroa Street.
Yes, the ever-popular Water Bars are back and they’re called “Hydration Stations” now and they’re located inside and outside of every Ballroom as well as on the Poolside Plaza Deck. “Tickets” are required, see “D” above.
